결론
본 연구는 류마티스 관절염 환자가 지각하는 불확실성인지에 영향을 주는 요인을 모색하
기 위하여 시도되었다. 본 연구는 류마티스 관절염으로 진단을 받은 환자 중 2개 대학 병원
과 1개 사립 종합병원 외래에 내원한 환자를 합하여 전부 528명을 대상자로 선택하였다.
자료분석시 서술통계와 상관관계분석, 불확실성인지에 영향을 주는 독립 변인들을 찾기
위한 로지스틱회귀분석법, 불확실성의 '위험'인지와 '기회'인지 각각에 영향을 주는 독립변
인들을 찾기 위한 다중회귀분석법 등은 모두 SPSS PC 6.0 Program을 이용하였다.
본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
1) 불확실성 인지 변수 중 위험 인지는 질병의 심각성, 불확실성과 정적인 상관관계를 가
졌으며(P<.0001), 연령(P<.0001), 사건의 일치성(P<.0001), 의료인에 대한 신뢰(P<.0001), 사
건의 친숙성(P<.0001), 기회 인지(P<.0001), 증상 일관성(P<.05), 가족의 사회적지지(P<.05)
와 부적인 상관관계를 보였다. 또한 기회 인지는 연령(P<.05), 사건의 일치성(P<.0001), 의료
인에 대한 신뢰(P<.0001), 사건의 친숙성(P<.0001), 가족의 사회적 지지(P<.0001), 증상 일관
성(P<.05)와 정적인 상관관계를 보였으며, 위험 인지, 질병의 심각성, 불확실성과는 부적 인
상관관계를 가졌다(P<.0001).
2) 로지스틱회귀분석 결과, 불확실성을 위험과 기회로 인지하는데 유의한 영향을 준 변수
는 불확실성 (P<.001), 질병의 심각성 (P<.05), 교육정도(P<.05), 연령(P<.05) 등이었다.
3) 다중회귀분석 결과, 불확실성을 위험으로 인지하는데 유의한 영향을 준 변수는 불확실
성(P<.0001), 연령(P<.0005), 질병의 심각성(P<.001), 교육정도(P<.05) 등이었고, 불확실성을
기회로 인지하는데 유의한 영향을 준 변수는 불확실성 (P< 0005), 사회적지지(P<.0005), 질
병의 심각성(P<.005), 의료인에 대한 신뢰(P<.05), 연령(P<.05), 교육정도(P<.05) 등이었다.

This study was conducted to investigate the influencing factors on the appraisal of
uncertainty in patients having rheumatoid arthritis. Subjects of the study constituted 528
patients who visited outpatient clinics of two university hospitals and one general
hospital in Seoul.
Self report questionnaires were used to measure the variables influencing the appraisal
of uncertainty. Reliability coefficients of these instruments were found Cronbach's
Alpha=.70∼.96.
In data analysis, SPSS PC 6.0 program was utilized for descriptive statistics,
Pearson's correlation, logistic and multiple regression analysis.
The results of logistic and multiple regression analysis were as follows
1) Among the independent variables, significant factors to explain the appraisal of
uncertainty in patients were uncertainty(p<.001), severity of illness(p<.05), eaucational
level (p<.05) and age (p<.05).
2) When patients appraised uncertainty as 'Danger', significant factors to explain the
appraisal of uncertainty were uncertainty(p<.0001), age(p<.0005), severity of
illness(p<.001), educational level (p<.05).
3) When patients appraised uncertainty as 'Opportunity', significant factors to predict
the appraisal of uncertainty were uncertainty(p<.0005), social support(p<.0005), severity
of illness(p<.005), credible authority(p<.05), age(p<.05) and educational level (p<.05)
